1) Will the skin void my warranty?
No, the WD warranty is unaffected by the skin, neither vents nor the serial label are covered. However in a potential warranty exchange, you may not get your drive with skin back..

2) How do I select the skin design?
Please select the external hard drive on the order page and then one of the available skins. You can opt to purchase a plain drive without skin as well.

3) Can I have design X on drive Y?
Skin designs are only available as listed on the respective product pages. The My Book ranges have a slightly different shape, so only the offered combinations will actually fit.

4) I just want the skin, how much is it?
Sorry, we do not sell the skins individually.

5) Does it come as pictured?
The drive and skin will be delivered separately. Detailed instructions for the application are included. We only have one skin for every drive, so please apply with care.

6) I like the Studio skins but can the My Book Studio be used with Windows?
Whilst the My Book Studio comes formatted for Macs, it can easily be formatted for Windows (without affecting the warranty of course). Driver and utilities for Windows users can be found here.

7) Can the skin be removed again?
Yes, however the removal process will damage the skin.

8) Can you send me design X in high resolution please; I can't decide.
Sorry, we can't do that.

9) Could I please have a plain drive without skin?
Sure, just select the "No skin" option on the order page.

10) Can I return the drive if I don't like it?
We do offer returns within 20 days of purchase however we can only accept returns as long as the drive is returned sealed in the factory shrink wrap, together with the bonus skin. Once it has been opened or the skin applied, we cannot take it back.

11) Can you tell me more about the prints?
CoreComputers created these skins as a limited edition, they are not available elsewhere. The skins are high quality digital prints on thick vinyl, sealed with a matt laminate. In terms of quality, this is about as good as it gets. We found that glossy laminate is prone to scratches and shows finger prints - we did not select this material despite its lower cost.

11) How can I pay?
We currently only offer payment via bank deposit. Bank details will be provided once the order has been submitted. We can not process credit card payments via this web page or phone - apologies for the inconvenience.
